Lisa Rodriguez

President, Spectrum Seismic Collaborative

San Francisco

Lisa has spent the past 25 years telling the stories of world-changing companies and organizations. She has a knack for navigating the complex communications challenges and opportunities that arise at key business inflection points, such as market/category creation, dramatic growth, and the dynamic shifts in the IPO aftermath. She specializes in corporate issues strategy, reputation management and crisis communications and has influenced global communications efforts for Illumina, BD, Qualcomm, and HP, among others.

Lisa’s work with several early movers in genomics, who are now considered some of the most innovative and celebrated in the world, sparked her passion for health and life sciences. She has launched and directed the precision communications programming efforts of dozens of brands that are improving health and saving lives with their transformational innovations.

Lisa started her career as a journalist, reporting for several news outlets, including The Boston Globe and CNN Radio News. She then spent 15 years working in executive leadership positions at top global PR agencies MSL Group and Porter Novelli, managing some of the firms’ largest accounts and technology practices. Eager to be back in hands-on collaboration with clients and colleagues in a way that is simply not possible in the large agency model, she joined Seismic in 2008 and became owner and CEO in 2018.
